So Jackie and I decided to take Aston on his first vacation. We went to Pensacola, Florida to see Jackie's Grandmother (Aston's Great Grandmother. We left on Thursday May 26th and stayed until May 30th. We had a great time touring the flight museum, lighthouse and watching Aston play in the sand and the water. Below is a couple of pictures of Aston lounging in his chair we had picked up a month or so ago.

Happy Birthday Heidi

Today Heidi would have been 8 years old. You have been gone now for just over two years. Time does heal some wounds but I still feel the pain of your passing. Heidi was my biggie....a 129 lb Bernese Mountain Dog. She was a rock star to travel with. Everyone would come up asking what kind of dog she was. Berners are one of the best dog breeds to have....They are very rare and somewhat hard to get even if you know someone with one. The do have the shortest lifespan of any dog. They just average 7 years because cancer runs so strong in this dogs line. I knew that going into it and I would go back in time a million times to the day I picked her up and I would never change a thing I did with her. Heidi was a gentle giant.

I miss you hair being everywhere. Your deep barks and your big wet kisses. You truly were my soul mate Heidi whoo.

I sure miss you biggie. Happy Birthday!!

Happy Birthday Feynman

Well today my little boy Feynman would have been 9 years old. Feynman had to leave his mom and dad due to cancer back on October 18, 2008. I must say I can't believe it's been that long since we lost you. I think about him everyday and really miss all of our soccer matches that we had in the backyard. I hope you, Snuffles, and Heidi are having a great time in Heaven. So Happy 9th Birthday Feynman!! Eat a cheeseburger up there and I will give your little brother Stitch one down here to celebrate your special day.

So anyone who knows me knows that my wife has her Ph.D in Astrophysics. I'm expecting great thinks from Aston as I've read and my wife likes to remind me that we get our intelligence from our moms. So if this is true it explains what I already know. Aston will surpass my level of intelligence before he starts grade school.

Today Snuffles would have been 10 years old had cancer not taken her away from her mom and dad. It's hard to believe you have been gone 66 days already. Mom and dad miss you so much. Disney World 2011

Well today I finished booking our trip to Disney World for later on this year. It will be one heck of a celebration. A lot of 1st to come on this trip. Super excited!! Plus Jackie's parents will be going with us for the 1st leg of our trip. We got a 1 bedroom villa at Bay Lake Towers for 16 days and 15 nights. Nothing like being 5 minutes walking distance to the Magic Kingdom!!!

So the weather took a turn for the better. It warmed up into the mid to upper 60's so we decided that Aston was ready for his 1st trip to the Fort Worth ZOO. I think he had a wonderful time....ok ok. He slept the entire time but it was good to get mom and baby out of the house (dad was suffering a little cabin fever too)

Well due to the ever increasing size of Aston (we were afraid he would well over 10 lbs if we waited another week. Jackie was induced on 12/29/10. Due to some difficulties he had to be delivered via C-Section at 4:07 am Thursday 12/30/10. Aston is 9 lbs and is 21 1/2" long.

Last Days!!

Well I finally got around to taking a few pictures of Jackie in her final days of being pregnant. I can't believe how quickly 9 months passes when you have so much to look forward too. It's been a great 9 months though. My wife (Jackie) has handled be pregnant so well. I so look forward to the arrival of our little man in just a couple of days. So we went to eat one last time (childless) and then went to TCU and walked around a little while. Was a lot colder than I had thought it would be...but Jackie looked incredible.

Well Jackie and I went to the Dr. to find out how Aston is doing.....after a quick ultrasound we found out he is a big baby...8 lbs 14oz and Jackie is at 36 weeks. So we will have to induce Jackie into labor early. Don't want a 10+ lb baby.

Snuffles

Today was yet another very sad day at the Dunn house. Snuffles our first born, our first corgi went to be with her younger brother Feynman and younger sister Heidi at the rainbow bridge.

Snuffles had suffered a ruptured spleen October 1st while we were in Disney World on vacation. My in-laws rushed her to our vet were she had to have a splenectomy to save her life. Our vet found a mass on her spleen had caused the rupture. Upon returning home we got the terrible news that the mass on Snuffle's spleen was our worst fear cancer. Our vet said Snuffles had angiosarcoma. It is a blood fed tumor and there is nothing that can be done to save her. No chemo, no radiation, will save her. Snuffles had 18-60 days left. So we decided to bring her home and let her live out the rest of her life with us. Snuffles quickly recovered from her surgery. I was amazed at how tough this little corgi was. Halloween pasted. Thanksgiving came and went and Snuffles was just getting better. I had prayed for a miracle and I believed I got one. But it just wasn't meant to be. Upon arriving home today (12/13/10) Snuffles was doing just fine. I feed her like I do everyday I get home. Took her and Stitch outside and quickly realized something was wrong as she just wanted to lay down. I finally got her inside and we called our vet who said we needed to get her to the office as soon as we could (her gums were very pale).

We rushed Snuffles off to the vet and quickly saw Dr. Young. After a quick blood test and ultrasound we were given the terrible news. Snuffles had another mass this time on her liver and she was bleeding out again. This time surgery wasn't a option and she only had a matter of hours. So Jackie and I with my mother in-law with us helped Snuffles cross over the bridge.

This is the 3rd furry kid I have lost in 2 years 1 month from cancer. It doesn't get any easier.

My wife and I have had Snuffles almost as long as we have been married. Snuffles was such an amazing corgi. Far smarter than most people I have met. She knew more english than most immigrants (she really did too). I will miss her smile, her barks, her crazy behavior when I open the dishwasher. I will miss her companionship so much.

I really want to thank Dr. Young and his staff at Harris Parkway Animal Hospital for the loving care of Snuffles and all my dogs for that matter.

I want to thank my in-laws for watching out so well of all my furry kids while we have been gone on vacation.

Thanks to my wife for being such a dog lover as well!!!

I want to thank GOD for allowing me first to have the privilege of having Snuffles. I also want to thank him for giving me 2 months and 13 days extra with Snuffles from when her spleen ruptured. It was an amazing time to spend with her.

Most of all I want to thank Snuffles for the time she gave me over the last 9 years 9 months that we have spent together. You were my shadow, my furry kid, my red, my tank and the best introduction in Pembroke Welsh Corgi's I could have ever had. I already miss you so much.

Please run free and play tons of soccer games with your baby brother. Give Feynman and Heidi a big old kiss from dad.

I will see you one day. Keep a watch at the bridge for me!!!

Disney World 2010

So Jackie and I went to Disney World this week (09/28/10-10/03/10). We had to reschedule this trip from a trip we had planned at the end of December into January (was going to be difficult if Jackie gave birth while in Disney World). We didn't get to stay at our home resort of Bay Lake Towers but I was just fine with that since I was able to get a one bedroom villa at the Villas at Wilderness Lodge.

Well Jackie and I went down for one more observing trip before the baby is born!! We had a great time as usual. The weather wasn't "observer friendly" like it normally is for us but still we had a good run.

Baby feet and Love

So I have to say that I think there is pretty much nothing cuter than baby feet. Especially when they belong to my little man Aston.

I had been wanting to get a shot of his feet....something artistic yet cute at the same time. So I decided on this shot. Wished I could say..."oh yes it took seconds...only one try". Try 20 minutes and picking up our wedding rings off the floor something like 15 times. But in the end I got it. This shot sums it all up for me. LOVE....That's what I think every time I look at Aston. The LOVE I have for him and the continue LOVE I have for the incredible women that carried him and brought him into our lives. Thanks sweetie for giving me such an incredible gift.

Well...I'm finally posting just a few of the 2,000 photos I took at Disney World while on vacation with Jackie. We left on December 13 and stayed for 8 nights. Jackie and I stayed at the Wilderness Lodge, an incredible Yellowstone type Lodge that was just beautifully decorated for Christmas. We had a blast. I've never seen 8 nights pass by so slowly. Feynman and Heidi

Well today is a tough day for me. 1 year ago I lost my best little buddy Feynman from cancer.

It's been a long year my little furry kid. I've missed you so much. So many soccer games not played. Take care Feynman....I miss you and I still love you and think about you every day.

6 months ago today as I well I lost Heidi to cancer as well. The love of my life....my biggie, my who. There isn't a moment of the last 6 months I haven't thought about you. The house hasn't been the same since you had to leave. I love you Heidi.

Pensacola Beach

Well I can't believe how long it's been since I've updated my blog. What can I say....other than time has a way of getting away from me these days.

I do have some updates. I finally got away for a vacation. The first one in more than 4 years. Jackie and I went to visit her Grandmother in Pensacola, FL. We had a great time. The weather was brutally hot. It didn't slow us down as we were up every morning at 5:30 getting ready and hitting the road. We went to the Pensacola Beach, Fort Pickens, Fort Barrancas, NAS Pensacola to see the Blue Angels, Pensacola Lighthouse. Pensacola Beach, Fort Walton, Destin, Fl, Gulfarium....and so many other tourist shops and stops. In the end we needed a vacation from our vacation....but we had a FANTASTIC time in the end and saw some incredible sites in America. What a country....

Heidi's Birthday

Well today is Heidi's Birthday. Heidi would have been 6 years old today. I picked up the corgi's a cheeseburger today to celebrate my big girls birthday. Happy Birthday Heidi. I miss you my biggie.

Heidi's illness

Well I haven't even been able to write about it but Heidi had been sick for sometime and I've been taking care of her. She started out back at the beginning of March with not wanting her dog food. Not really unusual as any one who knows Heidi knows as a puppy my wife had to feed her on a pillow in front of a fan out of her hand. That's right you heard me...she was that spoiled. Anyway...she turned her nose up at her food. So I switched food which she took to her new food with no problem. Within a day or too....it was the same thing. My wife and I went through so many different types of food. In the mean time we took her to the vet and found out she had some high kidney levels. We got some medicine for her and the vet was working on finding out what was wrong with her. In the mean time Heidi had to be put on people food as I couldn't find a type of food she would eat. On April 7th I dropped Heidi off at the vet and after a few x-rays found out she had kidney stones. My vet thought it could be a hyperparathyroidism as she didn't have any crystals present in her urine. If so this would require a pretty big surgery but we were ready and willing just awaiting the results of some blood work to confirm the presents of a hormone that would show she did have hyperparathyroidism causing her to have a excessive amount of calcium in her blood.

Well after the test came back which took a while, the test didn't show the hormone.

My vet braced me for some possible bad results as high calcium levels in the blood (which the test did confirm) normally point to some type of tumor. So we did another series of x-rays and the results were shocking in just 9 days from the first round of x-rays. There was clearly 3 tumors in her chest and abdomen. None of these tumors could be seen on the April 7th x-rays. On the April 16th x-rays we could clearly see masses. One was a very large tumor causing her stomach to be pushed forward making it nothing but a little pocket. She had another tumor on her liver and her kidney. She also had a enlarged lymph-node in her shoulder neck area about the size of a golf ball. My vet did a biopsy on the lymph-node and after a pathologist looked at it, we found out it was malignant histiocytic neoplasia. By now Heidi was showing signs of just how sick she was. She had stopped eating all together back around the 7th of April and I was having to force feed her different foods (chicken...etc.) I tried everything everyone could tell me had worked for there dog...eggs, tuna...you name it I cooked it. Every time though I was forced to pry her mouth open and force her to eat the food. Up until this point I wasn't about to let my girl starve to death. She had already gone from 128 lbs down to 107 lbs. in just about a month. So I took Heidi to work with me on Friday so I didn't have to leave her at home. She put on such a good front at work smiling and wagging her tail at everyone. It was easy to pick up on though as she normally gets up to meet everyone that comes in my office but this time she just laid down and waited for them to come and see her. She was now getting were she didn't even want to drink. It was very apparent that Heidi was very sick. Plus the enlarge lymph-node had become 3 times the size in just 2 days. Once she got home she slept for nearly 6 hours straight and didn't even want to get up to use the bathroom. She was also having a hard time even getting up. So I decided that I she had been through enough and my wife and I scheduled with our vet to help get her out of her pain and help her cross the rainbow bridge. It was such a hard decision as Heidi was still wagging her tail and looking so happy. Friday night April 17th our little Corgi Snuffles was whimpering behind our couch and when we turned around she was staring at Heidi. She knew. She had been down this road just 6 months ago with her baby brother Corgi Feynman. Who passed away with lymphosarcoma on October 18th. That night I made a bed on the floor near the front door (Heidi's favorite spot) and I slept on the floor next to her. It was really nice. I wanted to sleep next to my best friend in the world. My Heidi-whoo. On Saturday morning April 18th (six months to the day we lost Feynman to cancer) we woke up to help Heidi get out of her pain. It was so much of a deja vu moment for both me a Jackie. We woke up early to be able to spend some time with Heidi and the around 7:40 we left for the vet. Once again we had a dog that could read our minds as Heidi went straight to the back door waiting for us to take her. We didn't say a word about going anywhere but it was as if she knew what was going on....just like Feynman did before we left for his journey to cross the rainbow bridge. Losing Heidi was even more harder on me than losing Feynman. You never want to have a favorite among your kids but it was no secret (even though I tried to keep it) Heidi was a daddies girl and I was proud to admit it. I held Heidi's head in my lap and just before she fell asleep I bent down and kissed her right on the mouth and told her I loved her and to please forgive me for not being able to save her. She answered me with a few more kisses right back at me (I taught her a few years ago to give me kisses...and yes she really did pucker her lips...I'm not kidding either). I know Heidi knew what was going on. She seemed so excited to be crossing the bridge and going to Heaven. I know she was looking forward to seeing her baby brother and soccer buddy Feynman. My furry kids have taught me so much. I've learned for one thing...why are we humans so scared of death. I'm not welcoming it right now as I'm still young. But I know one thing. If you know where your going like all dogs do..(all dogs do go to heaven after all) then why be scared. That is one thing I have learned from them. I know I for one will be thinking of crossing the bridge a little different now after watching Feynman and Heidi cross over. I know they will be waiting for me ready to play a good game of soccer. It does add a plus to getting older now. 8)

I want to thank again Dr. Young, Dr. Blue and Dr. McNeal at Harris Animal Parkway Hospital for all their hard work and caring that they put into taking care of all my animals.

I also want to thank Jeff and Mary Chapdelaine (Heidi's breeders) at Snobears Berners. You guys were always there for us when we needed you and I will one day becoming to see about getting another Berner from you.

I want to thank Heidi for 5 years 9 months of love, and companionship and for being such a good daddies girl. You where the best furry kid I could have ever ask for. You where my first Bernese Mountain Dog and a great ambassador of what the breed has to offer. You never knew a stranger and was so good around little kids. I'm sorry your mom and I never had any for you to be able to play with. I have to say in the short time we were together you made me so proud to be able to call you my furry kid. You where my 'rock star" (if you cold have written your name I know people would have asked for your autograph). Thanks Heidi for being my daughter I will miss your smile, hand shakes, yawns, and snoring so much. I know I already do.

Well we had a incredible night last night looking at over 9 dwarf irregular galaxies. A ton for one nights work. Once we woke up we went out to take Jordan and Morgan (Jackie's students) around the Observatory.

We drove over to look at the HET telescope. It's just a incredible telescope.

McDonald Observatory

Well Jackie and I and a couple of her students are down for the week at McDonald Observatory in Fort Davis, Texas. Jackie is continuing on her research in the field of Dwarf Irregular Galaxies.

Anyway...the weather has been great for the most part. Here are a few pictures so far.

Well we took Stitch to the vet for the first time. I'm so proud of him because he has lost 6 lbs since we brought him home. Stitch did so well getting his check-up and getting micro-chipped.

Meet Stitch

Well Jackie, Cathy (my mother-in-law) and I drove up to Oklahoma today to pick up Stitch. He is so cute and sweet. He road in the back seat the entire trip with Jackie and never really made a sound. I know he was nervous to be leaving the people he had been around for the past few weeks. It must be so hard on dogs to be given up and lose everything they know in the world. I must admit that the moment I saw Stitch I knew Feynman was looking down at him thinking "you are one lucky dog....be good to my people". Stitch did really well meeting Heidi and Snuffles. To be honest it too Heidi a few minutes to figure out it wasn't Feynman as he is a tri-color too and really puts me in the mind of Feynman with the way he acts. I look forward to raising this new little corgi and being able to once again have another male in the house again.

Well I still haven't gotten over the loss of Feynman. I still think about him and miss him terribly everyday. Jackie and I have really thought about it and it hasn't been even a month yet but there has been such a emptiness in our house since Feynman had to leave us. There was such a difference when we went from 2 dogs to 3 when we got Heidi...but going from 3 to 2 has really been a hard thing to do. So we decided to adopt a rescue corgi. To give another corgi a chance at the good life Feynman has\d. We are not replacing Feynman as no furry kid could ever replace my Feynman but I think it will be a really good way to honor his memory. So today we are leaving to go up to Oklahoma to pick up our newest member of our family. We are getting a 4 year old male corgi named Stitch. I know it will be hard on me as I feel somewhat guilty to be getting another dog so soon but I know Feynman would want me to be happy.

I never would have dreamed I would have lost Feynman to cancer. He was always so healthy so full of life. So much a part of me. Now I have a big empty spot left in my heart by his passing. I'm going to fill it up by fighting what took my best little buddy.

Well today was the toughest day of my life.

Jackie and I woke up early Saturday morning to spend the most time with Feynman. He ate the last of his corny dog and had a couple of blue-berry yogurts for a desert.

As we where leaving to take Feynman to the vet, Snuffles came up sniffed him and licked him on the side of the face. It was as if they somehow both knew the end was near.

Feynman road in the front seat with me almost driving the car (what a little man). When we got to the vet I asked Jackie to take one last picture of Feynman and me together.

I hope I face death with as much love in my heart and faith as everything is going to be alright as my little buddy did. He was so strong and brave for his parents. I know he wanted to make it easy on everyone. I held Feynman's head in my arms as I looked into his eyes and heard his last sigh. GOD help me for what I knew I had to do. It was the right time as I knew he was suffering.

I want to thank everyone at Harris Parkway animal clinic. Dr. Richard Young for caring for my animals for so long and Dr. Ann Blue for helping and doing so much for Feynman as he fought so hard to stay strong for his people.

When we got home later this afternoon there was a single rose at our door step and I card signed from everyone from our vets office. What a gesture of love. Thank you guys so much.

Thank you to my wife for being so strong and helping me get through this. You are amazing and I couldn't have made it without you.

Thank you to all my friends and family for their thoughts and prayers. Thanks to my boss Brady, and Angela for understanding that my furry kids are my real kids.

Thank you GOD for making man's best friends. They truly show us what love and friendship is all about.

Feynman...I want to thank you for 6 1/2 years of love and kisses and soccer games. For watching thousand of hours of TV with me and for being by me when I was in pain and sick.

Thank you for making me want to be as good as person as you thought I was.

Thank you for being my best friend in the whole wide world. You will never be forgotten or replaced. You will always be " My little buddy".

Well I took Feynman to work with me today but I left very early to come home and spend my last full day with him. I could tell he was getting very tired quickly even if he didn't want to show it. I'm glad I took him with me to work as he is such a people person I think it really brighten up his day.I went by Sonic Drive-in on the way home and picked him up 3 corny dogs. One for lunch, dinner and breakfast the next day.

Well I found out the worst news today. My son...my best buddy and friend in the world has lymphatic cancer and there is nothing I can do to help him out. The next few days are going to be hard on my wife and I....Please keep us in your prayers during this tough time.

Babies at the Fort Worth Zoo

Well my wife and I went out to the Fort Worth Zoo today to see the newest babies born at the zoo.

Here are the new Malayan Tiger cubs born April 28th 2008.

Here are the new African Lion cubs born July 24th 2008. The lioness gave birth two 3 girls and one boy!!

Jackie and I met up with our good friends Craig and Karen for the day up at the Wichita Mountains. We met up with Craig and KK for a bit of hiking and picture taking....and eating. I can't forget eating. Once again we went to eat at Meer's for the world famous burgers. They are just about the best I've had.

Well I'm taking the summer off as far as photography as a profession. I'll be posting a few times during the summer of my where bouts and what I'll be up too. So far it looks like I'll be doing a little planning with my wife for our upcoming Disney World trip over Christmas. It will be our first trip back since our honeymoon in 2001 and I know we both can't wait. Hope everyone has a great summer.

Well today I finished up my photography with the Fort Worth Citizens Fire Academy. It was really cool getting to watch all the class repel out of a four story building. Later that night I got to watch the class practice using the jaws of life and cut up a car. Thanks to all the Fort Worth Fire Fighters who made me feel welcomed and answered all my questions I kept asking.

Well today I got to shoot a class of the Fort Worth Citizens Fire Academy. I must say it was a honor to meet the men and women of the Fort Worth Fire Department and the volunteers that help them out. I also got to check out the Red Helmets truck that carries all the snacks and drinks for the fire fighters during a large fire. It was some pretty cool stuff. Next week I'll be shooting some more pictures of the volunteers as they do some training.

Well my wife and I got a couple of new phones this weekend. I decided I would cross over to the dark side myself and get a iPhone. I must admit I was a little unsure at first about the iPhones as I am a PC type of person although that will be changing this summer as I'm going over to a Mac to do all my photo processing on....can't wait for that.

Anyway so far I must admit it is a very cool little phone. It was very easy to set up all my email accounts up on and it seems so far to get a much better signal than my BlackJack ever got. I'll write a little more after I've had more time with the iPhone.
I love it so far!!!

Apirl 19th..Dad's birthday & Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge

Well first off I must say happy birthday to my dad... Robert Dunn (1940-1999). Who would have been 68 years old today. You are still missed more than you will ever know. I'm glad to know you are in a much better place now and free from all the pain you lived with in life. So Happy Birthday Dad. Will still love and think of you daily and I will miss "our talks" for the rest of my life.

Well my wife and I decided since we had a day free and I was up at the "vacation home in the Falls" that we could use a run up to the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge and I could go with a Meer's Burger. For those of you who have never had a "Meers Burger" it is a must. Voted the best burger in all of Oklahoma I would say it really gives some of the best burger places in Texas a run. Meers is located just a few miles outside of the wildlife refuge (just follow the sign). Here is a link to their web site...Meers.

Well after eating some good old Texas Longhorn....(my wife a grilled cheese the best she claims probably in Ok or TX as well) we headed up to check out the wildlife. It was a little to hot for me since I'm just that way...so we just stayed in the car for most of the time and took pictures of the bison and longhorns which whe both agreed were the most we had ever seen on one trip up to the WMR. We had a great time and took a few pictures.

Pantego Christian Academy

Well I got together with the 6th grade class of Pantego Christian Academy on Friday and Monday for some class pictures and individual shots for their upcoming banquet. The kids where good sports and I had the pleasure of meeting them all. I must admit my hat is off to all teachers for their patience while teaching todays younger generations.......

Well my wife and I went out looking for a new camera for her this past weekend as our old Kodak that she used has just about had it. She has always had a bit of the photography bug just hated our old point and shoot and always says my cameras are just to big to lug around. She did cross over to the dark side and get a Nikon CoolpixS210. Now me being a Canon guy it was hard to let her go down this path ....really hard. I must admit it is a cool little camera and for the technology behind this little gem I believe it's well worth the cash. After I get to use it I'll post how well it I think it does.....

April 4th.... Drive-in

Well Jackie (my wife) and our good friends Stacy and Adam decided it was the right weather and time for a trip to the drive-in movie theater. I know must people don't realize that some are still around but search the internet you would be suprised just how many are still out there. This particular drive-in is located about 40-50 minutes south of Fort Worth in Granbury, Texas just off of highway 377. The Brazos Drive-in on the night we were there was showing Nims Island and Horton Hears a Who . Both movies turned out to be pretty good. I like Nims Island a little more....it was just more my style. We had a great time I highly recommend taking your family and friends out the the Brazos Drive-in. It's $18.00 per Carload (max 6 people). Not a bad price for 2 movies!

Well my wife and I and my mother-in-law (Cathy) went on a bit of a drive across Texas trip today! We drove down near Hearne, TX to look at a Heritage Log Home model (we are in the process of picking out a builder for our future log home). We have finally decided on a model the Biltmore . Thanks so much to Larry & Jan Thompson for showing us around their home and telling us so much about the building process and Heritage Log Homes. We are still a year a half or so away from building our new home but with something this big you have to start planning a long time in advance. On the way back we decided to drive a bit out of the way and head to Austin to let Cathy see the capital and also check out the surrounding area. A short trip down to Hearne, TX turned out to be a 14 hour adventure!

Well it's been a while since I last updated my blog. What can I say other than life just sometimes gets in the way. Well my wife and I went to the Cameron Park Zoo down in Waco. The weather was nice although it was a bit warm for March 1st. Texas....I believe that sums it up in one word.
We were so excited to see 5 month old Seraphina, which means “fiery one” on display. She was born on September 2, 2007 to the proud of parents of 3-year-old Tukari (Mom) and four-year-old Nacon (Dad). Seraphina now weighs in at twenty-seven pounds.

Wow what a weekend. I had had the privilege of shooting Kate and Spencer's wedding today. Kate and Spencer are the type of people after spending only 5 minutes with them you feel like your best friends. They have something about them that really shines. I'm thinking it is there love for each other. It really comes across when you meet them. Their wedding was awesome. From the beautiful bride (loved the dress too) to the incredible surroundings of the Botanic Garden. Both their families were wonderful and made my wife and I feel more like a guest of the wedding than the paid photographers. Kate & Spencer....thanks so much for allowing me to share in your incredible moment.

Well my wife decided for our 6th anniversary that she wanted to try her hand at camping. We decided to visit the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge for some winter camping. We ended up having a fantastic time.
